World Voices Uganda

World Voices Uganda is an Indigenous Local Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organisation operating in Uganda with a major focus on the promotion of Human Rights, Access to Justice for the poor and most vulnerable people, Humanitarian, Emergency and Disaster response, mitigation and management, Peacebuilding, conflict mitigation, management and resolution and, governance and social accountability for the benefit of the grassroots communities. 

World Voices Uganda is part of World Voices Global with affiliation to World Voices Norway and is the only independent chapter in Southern, Eastern and Central Africa.

We aim to empower marginalized Ugandans to amplify their voice in society to claim justice and their legal rights. As echoed in our slogan, WVU is the voice of the voiceless. WVU advocates for concrete and innovative solutions to justice problems, social exclusion, Refugee protection, Emergency Humanitarian Response, Child protection and Juvenile Justice, Natural Resource Governance, conflict mitigation, management and resolutions and community participation.
