About

Our organization, Developmental Association for Human Advancement (DEHAT), is a voluntary development organization registered under Societies Registration Act 21,1860, Income tax Registration Act-12A and FCRA-1976 and working in Bahraich-a most backward district of Uttar Pradesh in INDIA situated at the Indo-Nepal boarder area. Our focussed area of intervention is Child Rights. We are intensively working in 337 villages in 7 blocks on all the major issues affecting child rights. On 13th June-2009, our oganization got "Manjunath Shanmugam Integrity Award-2009" at IIM-Bangalore for our committment, honesty and integrity.
