In the mid-sixties of the last century, based on world experience in the field of agriculture, which showed that high productivity of agriculture is impossible without the use of agrochemicals, a course was adopted on the chemistry of agricultural production. Chemical fuel industry began to develop at a high pace, new factories and plants for the production of mineral fertilizers were built. In conditions of intensified production intensification, there was a need for proper scientific support of a new direction of economic activity.
