About
Founded in 1993, the Union of NGOs of Togo (UONGTO) is an apolitical and non-profit umbrella which aims to coordinate actions between its members and to promote partnership between them and national and international development organizations.
The activities of the umbrella organization are: (i) coordination, planning, implementation and monitoring-evaluation of national and regional projects/programs (ii) representation of members to public authorities and international partners , (iii) capacity building through institutional, technical and organizational support and the promotion of partnership between its members, national organizations and international development organizations, (v) lobbying and advocacy for the emergence of a strong civil society that can influence public policies.
