Objectives: The recruitment seeks to engage a National Specialist in biodiversity finance for the development of Togo's first national biodiversity finance plan. This initiative, part of a broader program supported by the UNDP and GEF, aims to enhance biodiversity financing mechanisms by analyzing and increasing financial resources, improving the effectiveness of expenditures, and reducing harmful financial flows. The position involves leading the expenditure analysis, financial needs assessment, and development of the biodiversity finance plan, informed by BIOFIN methodology.
