TA-10400 REG: Preparing the TUV Funafuti Climate Adaptation and Disaster Resilience Infrastructure Project - Project Design Consulting Firm (58063-001)

Objectives: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is recruiting a project design consulting firm to support the preparation of the Funafuti Climate Adaptation and Disaster Resilience Infrastructure Project in Tuvalu. The project aims to enhance approximately 6.0 hectares of coastal resources in Fogafale at the Teone site through sustainable and integrated coastal zone management. Key components include land reclamation, re-vegetation, beach nourishment, seagrass bed restoration, and coral reef rehabilitation. The initiative combines engineering interventions with ecosystem-based adaptation, involving collaboration with the Government of Tuvalu and international partners. The assignment's primary objective is to produce a comprehensive final report, including feasibility studies, sector assessments, cost estimates, financial management assessments, stakeholder analyses, and environmental impact assessments.
