Recrutement d’un Spécialiste national de la politique environnementale en matière de biodiversité pour l'élaboration d'un plan national de financement de la biodiversité

Objectives: The tender aims to recruit a National Specialist in Environmental Policy to spearhead the development of a National Biodiversity Finance Plan in Togo. The scope includes conducting a Policy and Institutional Analysis (API) to provide initial contributions for the biodiversity finance plan, drawing on the latest BIOFIN guidelines. The specialist is expected to analyze existing biodiversity policies, legal frameworks, and financial solutions, aligning efforts with the most recent national biodiversity strategies and action plans (SPANB) and the new framework set by the GBF of Kunming Montreal. The role involves critical stakeholder analysis, financial need estimation, and supporting feasibility analyses of financial mechanisms that aid in biodiversity funding. Ultimately, the specialist's work will contribute to resource mobilization and advancing the implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework. The position emphasizes national capacity building, improving governance, and enhancing financial strategies for biodiversity conservation.
