Consultoría de Asesoramiento técnico de avance físico de obras al Equipo del BID (INE/ENE) para la ejecución del Programa de Rehabilitación y Modernización del Complejo Hidroeléctrico Salto Grande (RG-L1124 y RG-L1167)

Eligibility criteria: Eligible consulting firms must originate from a member country or eligible territory of the Inter-American Development Bank, which includes countries such as Germany, Argentina, USA, and many others listed specifically in the tender document, as well as territories associated with France, the USA, Netherlands, and China. The consultants must demonstrate substantial experience and competence in related consultative services, including fifteen years of professional experience in planning, design, and supervision of construction and modernization of hydroelectric plants. This should include expertise in civil works, hydro-electromechanical, and electrical installations. It is favorable for firms with previous engagements in procurement processes in the energy infrastructure sector, especially under IDB policies, and those possessing experience in hydroelectric modernization projects within Latin America and the Caribbean, including project execution advisory in Argentina and Uruguay. Team members must have the ability to fluently communicate in Spanish, and the consultancy requires knowledge and experience in IDB's socio-environmental safeguards. Firms may form consortia or joint ventures to enhance their qualifications, and they must register and update their details in the IDB's Procurement Portal to participate in the tender.
