Consultancy to Develop and Apply Methodological Framework to Assess the Socio-Economic Significance of Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago

Eligibility criteria: Consulting firms eligible to apply must originate from a Member Country or eligible territories of the Inter-American Development Bank. Firms must supply proof of their expertise in conducting socio-economic assessments in tourism and creative sectors, with at least three related assignments completed in the last five years. Experience in Caribbean or comparable small island settings is considered advantageous. This consultancy requires a firm familiar with designing economic impact frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative endeavors with public entities and MSMEs. The firm must demonstrate capability in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and hold a business partner number for participation in the BEO portal. Key team roles include a Lead Economist, a Creative Economy Specialist, a Cultural Tourism Specialist, a Data Analyst, and a Stakeholder Engagement Specialist, each meeting specific educational and experiential criteria. The firm is expected to work closely with Trinidad and Tobago's cultural bodies and should include at least two team members residing in the country. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
