Requirements for qualifications and experience: An environmental specialist must have a master’s degree in natural or environmental sciences, and at least 15 years of experience in management of environmental and other safeguard (OHS) issues for similar projects in the framework of international development projects funded by IFIs in Central Asia. Knowledge of the AIIB/WB/ADB/EBRD environmental policy and experience in applying the DFI sustainability framework will be seen as an important asset.
