Junior Project Manager of Framework Contracts (FWC)

Location: Rome
Languages: Full proficiency in written and spoken English and French; working knowledge of Spanish would be an asset
Work experience: Between 1 and 5 years of experience in a similar EU consulting company
Sectors: Agriculture, Rural Development, Environment & NRM

Job description:

• Support to the analysis of business opportunities and contribution to the proposal decision making process
• Coordination & management of requests for services (RfS) received in the context of FWCs
• Regular exchanges and liaison with FWC Consortium partners
• Research of technical experts based on each RfS requirements and evaluation of profiles/CVs
• Selection of candidates and tailoring CVs to be presented
• Communication and negotiation with selected experts
• Contribution to the elaboration of technical and financial proposals for each RfS
• Establishing and maintaining contacts with experts
• Technical and financial management and quality control of ongoing RfS

Qualifications and skills:

• Experience in project management with EU consulting companies, possibly on FWCs
• Experience in researching and selecting experts for RfS preparation
• Excellent command of Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Excellent time-management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Knowledge of EU rules, procedures and guidelines for development projects (PRAG) would be an asset

Education & Experience: Master’s degree, preferably in: Agriculture, Rural development, Environment, Development Economics, or similar.
