Description

Responsible for end-to-end coordination of agreement-related processes for awards in the assigned portfolio. Will collaboratively work with cross-functional teams to enhance, standardize, and communicate internal control systems. Responsible for ensuring agreement-related policies and processes are followed and awards are adequately documented. Promotes proactive award management approaches to solve business needs/problems.

Principal Responsibilities
• Responsible for the implementation, communication, and training of award related policies and practices ensuring adherence.
• Negotiate award agreements and modifications and coordinate with country offices and other business units to conduct agreement and modification reviews.
• Communicate effectively with donors on award-related issues.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a framework to manage the awards within the assigned portfolio.
• Update various award databases and manage award files.
• Provide advisory services to business units within the organization and to management; conduct other reporting as required.
• Provide training materials and develop tools and templates for use in the assigned portfolio.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications
• Vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor and in full agreement with FH’s Christian beliefs.
• Demonstrated computer-operating skills, including proficiency in Google platforms, Microsoft Office products, and virtual technologies such as Skype and/or Zoom.
• Ability to sit/stand at a computer for up to 8 hours a day doing repetitive motions on a keyboard.
• Able to lift up to 25lbs individually.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of time per year in the US and internationally, to insecure countries or locations.

Experience
• Typically, 5+ years of agreement/grant management experience in a global organization.
• Prior experience in a complex, matrixed organization, with the ability to scale processes in a global, professional, service organization.
• Expert knowledge in USG CFRs and other donor related regulations.
• Previous legal office experience or drafting agreements is a plus.

Education/Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.

Language
Proficiency in spoken and written English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Typically, successful candidates are hired at a salary rate up to midpoint of the range, based on relevant experience, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
