Project Overview:

This project aims to manage and develop a dedicated Suai Supply Base, through a Design-Build and Finance contract. The Supervision works of SSB design build contract will provide specialized project management advice and expertise in the development of onshore and offshore works.

We are currently seeking an experienced Yard and Other Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 15 years' post-graduate experience to join our team in the region. The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of roads, drainage, open yards, and utility corridors within the supply base. The role ensures integration of these systems with structural and architectural components.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Team Lead.
  • Review designs for internal roads, storm drainage, and utility networks.
  • Supervise construction of pavements, culverts, open yards and perimeter access.
  • Ensure compliance with geometric, structural and hydraulic standards.
  • Coordinate civil infrastructure with buildings, MEP and marine zones.
  • Monitor construction activities and quality for horizontal works.
  • Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the working environment and projects.
  • Perform other such duties as may be reasonably required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience on large-scale civil infrastructure works.
  • Previous experience on at least two port/supply base projects with integrated yard/road networks and budgets exceeding USD 200 million.
  • Strong site engineering and quality control experience.
  • Familiarity with sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) or green infrastructure.
  • Experience with GIS or civil design tools (e.g., Civil 3D, MX Roads).
  • Excellent communication, reporting and computer skills, with excellent site supervision and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage many tasks concurrently.
  • You will have an agile and “Can Do” mindset.
  • Ambitions self-starter with high self-standards.
