About

Based in Kabul, Afghanistan Center for Policy Studies (ACPS) is a nonprofit policy studies and research organization, established by a committed group of Afghan academic and development specialists. ACPS is entirely dedicated to providing strategic insight, policy options and solutions, to help decision-makers take evidence-based and informed decisions for a better and prosperous Afghanistan.

ACPS is aiming to become Afghanistan’s leading independent policy studies and research think tank focused on rule of law and governance; peace and security; national economic, revenues and trade challenges; free market and investment impediments; weak institutions and service delivery challenges; and regional economic and trade integration efforts.
The Center’s dedicated staff and extended network of affiliated development scholars conduct research, empirical studies and analysis to continuously develop and recommend policy initiatives that support change and enable the Afghan state to achieve sustained positive results, in all sectors in future.
