About
Project HOPE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of the world’s most vulnerable people, especially women and children, by improving the delivery of health care services and building local capacity. To achieve our mission, we use innovative and sustainable approaches, bringing together individuals, communities, organizations, the private sector, and government entities to address local needs. Project HOPE has implemented more than 500 programs in over 120 countries in a wide range of health areas, including: maternal and child health, family planning, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, TB, health system strengthening, health education, and OVC care. Our strong collaboration with the private sector has been the cornerstone of our global health programs, enabling us to foster strong public-private partnerships. Our humanitarian assistance and volunteer efforts save thousands of lives around the world every year. Our Health Affairs journal, published monthly, plays a vital role in U.S. health policy dialogue.
