About

Pact has worked for more than a decade in Nigeria, a complex country that is home to more people than any other African nation.

With funding partners that have included Chevron and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Pact uses local solutions and builds the capacity of Nigerian organizations to create lasting impact.

Currently, Pact is working to stem violent conflict between nomadic livestock herders and indigenous farmers in Nigeria's Taraba State. With local partners and tribes, we're

facilitating  community conflict resolution through self-driven and locally-owned dialogue and consensus-building, improving access to justice and strengthening local government and

institutional capacity to effectively promote peace.
