Jordan Green Building Council

Jordan Green Building Council (Jordan GBC) is a Non-profit and Non-governmental organization, a green professional association that draws on its local and international networks & experts to maximize opportunities for the green building sector and sustainability in Jordan. The Jordan GBC was established in 2009 as a part of the MENA regional Green Buildings Councils, among 70 Green Building Councils worldwide, as a leader in the field to contribute effectively in the development, implementation, dissemination and advocating for green building practices globally. With a powerful contribution from our active partners from all segments of the green sector, that shed light on the fore-front of sustainable development.

Since its establishment in 2009, the Jordan GBC has worked on developing, implementing and consulting in various projects, programs, reports and training courses through its four pillars; Green Academy, Membership & Outreach,  Research & Innovation and Advocacy; Jordan GBC manages to lead an important role towards raising awareness influencing policy makers and engaging communities in development of business, advance best practices across different specialties related to the green sector &sustainable development, such as water, energy and waste, and relevant policies as well as environmental preservation. In the past 11 years, Jordan GBC with its technical arms & world-class of green experts, has conducted many training courses, projects & studies in different topics related to Energy Efficiency, Water Efficiency and Waste management.
