World Education Inc. (Zimbabwe) / Bantwana

World Education Inc/Bantwana (WEI/B) Zimbabwe, is an international NGO that works to support the Government of Zimbabwe, local organisations and communities to mitigate the impact of HIV & AIDS on orphans and vulnerable children(OVC) and their households. WEI/B operates in all of 10 of Zimbabwe’s provinces and supports activities in 63 out of 65 districts in the country, reaching more than 200, 000 vulnerable children every year with high-quality, comprehensive services in the areas of education, health, economic strengthening and child protection.
WEI/B and its partners implement activities in early childhood development to reach vulnerable children including those with disabilities; provide primary health care to school children including the identification and referral to treatment of children living with HIV; provide adolescent sexual reproductive health education and services; provide economic strengthening activities (including financial literacy, internal savings and loans, microcredit, business skills, and market linkages) to youth and parents; provide caregiver support groups with parenting skills. WEI/B Zimbabwe also supports the Department of Child Welfare and Protection Services to care and support OVC through the National Case Management System

*Strengthen the Capacity of the Government of Zimbabwe’s social service system
