About

Empower Society, Transform Lives (ESTL) is a youth professional non- governmental and non for profit organization established on 10th September 2010 and registered on 14th March 2011 in United Republic of Tanzania under nongovernmental organization act 2002 with registration number 00NGO/00004398. ESTL is implementing its works through creative technological solutions to address different social problems on health care delivery, sustainable protection of the natural environment, and provision of education services.
Vision: To improve the lives of Tanzanian people, more specifically, their social and economic development.
Mission: To work towards the provision of creative technological solutions that will facilitate and improve the process of health care delivery, provision of education services and sustainable protection of the natural environment.
Specific Objectives:
• To carry out health related research within Tanzania Mainland.
• To participate in and support health related research carried out by any institution, organization, individual, or any other group in order to enhance viability of such projects and thus improve health care and delivery systems.
• To provide health education and support to the society according to the results of the researches that were conducted.
• To mobilize resources (funds, equipment’s etc) for supporting and conducting health informatics programs.
• To influence health and ICT policy in expanding the application of ICT in e-health.
• To develop new ICT systems/projects to enhance delivery and addressing of the services in those fields (health, education, and environment)
• To strength application of alternative and sustainable ways in adapting/mitigating to climatic changes together with natural resources protection.
