WHO WE ARE

The Engineers Without Borders is an independent, not-for-profit, development organization operating in the Republic of Yemen under the work license number(1057)and a member association of Engineers Without Borders International. The organization has its main office at the capital Sana’a, and its services cover all regions and governorates of  Yemen. The Engineers Without Borders was established in 2020, with the aim of analyzing the crucial obstacles of local community development and promoting projects that empower communities to find appropriate solutions for their infrastructure for basic human needs.

In the Yemen's toughest places, Engineers Without Borders Yemen (EWB-YEM) is partnering with local communities to meet their basic human needs. We’re committed to creating meaningful change through local impact — 80 percent of our team members are from the local areas where they work.

We bring a comprehensive approach to every challenge, addressing problems from multiple angles. And we go beyond emergency response, partnering with local governments, private sector, and civil societies, forward-thinking corporations, social entrepreneurs and people living in fragile communities to develop bold solutions that make lasting change possible.

OUR  VISION:
