VEANI - Voice Of Rivers Widows & The Girl Child Initiative (VEANI) is a non-governmental organisation whose vision is to work towards building prosperous and peaceful communities for all through our sustainable economic empowerment and educational support programs,Human Rights advocacy, climate change action plans and gender and social inclusion action plans in which women,girls,men and boys access equal economic,social,cultural,civil and political right to secure a better future for themselves,families and the communities 

We have successfully completed a Training project of  Economic Empowerment For Women and Girls Through Mechanized Garri Production And Marketing in Abua-Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State in Nigeria, funded by EU-ACT ,inpartnership with British Council .

100 Women and Girls were trianed and organized into cooperative society for sustainability ; leveraging our expertise in community empowerment,multi-stakeholder dialogues, platform facilitation ,multidimensional advocacy,and grassroots community engagement model. The project impacted 70 women and 30 girls respectively and 500 persons as indirect beneficiaries by association with the direct beneficiaries.

We also care for the motherless children, and indigent girls school fees, accommodation, feeding and clothings.
