About
Population Aid for Intersectoral Development Organization (PAID) is a local NGO. It is a non-governmental, non-profit, as in private, non-religious, non-political, neutral, non-racist, does not do politics, does not act as a tool for political parties, including do not provide material means, finances, human resources to support any political party.
VISION:
Want to see everyone have a full life, get an education and empower people to be responsible, create and maintain a just and healthy society for the next generation.
MISSION:
• To ensure that children and adolescents in Cambodia affected by inequality grow up healthy and receive better quality education and better employment opportunities.
• This enables them to live powerful lives and define themselves as equal and active members of society with the potential to become leaders of responsible change.
• Save the poor with kindness, non-racism, religion and sectarianism politics.
• Contribute to the sustainable development of human resources, knowledge, skills, agricultural techniques and other life skills.
OBJECTIVES & ACTIVITIES:
• Implement partnerships to support local partners, local authorities, stakeholders for the intervention of children and adolescents in Cambodia, addressing current and future needs by pursuing the following strategic goals:
- Construction of schools and other educational infrastructure
- Improving access to basic education
- Improving the quality of education
- Providing skills training to increase employment capacity
- Support youth development and empowerment
- Develop future leaders, specialists and entrepreneurs
- Support basic health care
- Targeted emergency support
• Improve the living standards and well-being of the poor by providing membership cards for various health check-ups such as: maternity leave and deaths and disasters.
• Improve the livelihoods and well-being of the poor by supporting volunteer doctors to provide basic medical care.
• Improve people's livelihoods through human resource capacity development programs through education and gender equality, economic development, agricultural technology, health and nutrition, and other life skills.
• Create a culture of loving sharing with the poor to access educational opportunities, knowledge, skills, life skills through charitable funding, support and study materials for poor students in urban and remote rural areas. In contributing to poverty reduction and in line with the Pentagonal Strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia, the organization will continue to expand its activities to contribute to improving their livelihoods and well-being through various humanitarian programs to help people improve in the future.
