About

Community Based Improvement Organization (CBIO) is an independent, non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-for-profit development-oriented Afghan organization that was founded in January 2017. CBIO aims to improve the standards of living of marginalized people and communities in Afghanistan, especially women, children, and minorities, who have been affected by the three decades of war and the ongoing political, human rights, and humanitarian crisis. CBIO Vision: Improving marginalized people's standards of living in order to build a just society where everyone is able to live the life they desire. CBIO Mission: CBIO thrives to work for empowering the women (economically and socially through different training programs), protecting children’s rights (providing basic educational needs, and preventing child abuse, child labour, sexual abuse, neglect, illegal migration, and other forms of exploitation), and providing emergency relief aid to community members in order to lift the living standards of marginalized community members.
