About

Introduction and Mission
Neuropedia for Training and Scientific Research is a Jordan-based non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) , dedicated to advancing training, scientific research, and education in all fields of neuroscience while fostering global collaboration and innovation.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between education, research, and clinical practice in all neuroscience forms by empowering medical students, healthcare professionals, and researchers with the tools and knowledge needed to address critical challenges in neurological health.

History and Growth
Established in 2022 and founded in Jordan, Neuropedia began as a local initiative to enhance neuroscience research opportunities for medical students. Over time, it has become a recognized research, training, and education platform. Today, Neuropedia has more than 1,000 members from various medical fields, representing a diverse and dynamic community. We have published over 180 scientific articles on our website and in our first edition of the Neuropedia book, now available in the National Library of Jordan.

We have committees in six major medical faculties in Jordan, each composed of dedicated local officers, organizers, and contributors. Internationally, Neuropedia has committees in seven countries: Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Lithuania, Pakistan, Poland, and India. Each international committee is led by an ambassador and includes a team that mirrors the structure of our local committees. Neuropedia also partners with leading societies and organizations in Jordan related to neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, and patient support, conducting multiple collaborative activities for awareness and education.

Since its establishment, Neuropedia has hosted numerous workshops, training programs, awareness campaigns and collaborative research projects, all of which have addressed pressing neurological challenges. Smoking cessation has emerged as a priority within our mission due to its significant impact on neurological and public health.
