SHENOW FOUNDATION

SHE NOW foundation started in 2023 under the project name "Books for School Project" which sought to provide underprivileged students in basic schools in underserved communities with study materials such as books and stationeries, this falls under the "Education" thematic area of our activities. 

At SHE NOW, we believe the future is now. We pride ourselves as women and youth led organisations, creating representation for women and the youth.
 
Our mission is about empowering women and children in underserved communities to thrive through access to education and health care within a sustainable environment to ensure holistic development. 

Our vision is to create a world where there are no limitations in accessing quality health care and education in a sustainable environment. 

We work within three Thematic Areas, which are;

 S-SUSTAINABILITY (SDG-13) 
1. To provide community-based education on climate change and its impact
 2. Supporting sustainable community-based projects
 3. Undertake climate change campaigns and advocacy 

HEALTH (SDG-3) 
1. Improve access to health care in underserved communities for children and women

 2. Promote health education and capacity building of women, children, and young people 
3. To provide health interventions for women and children

 4. Health campaigns and advocacy

 EDUCATION (SDG-4) 
1. Provide learning materials to underprivileged students in underserved communities 
2. Set up reading clubs and libraries in basic schools 
3. Provide training, teaching, and learning materials to teachers. 

We have accomplished 3 projects in three schools from 2023 to 2025, where we donated exercise books and stationeries to students in underserved communities in the Volta region of Ghana and also had an impactful climate change talk with students . Our impact will continue in other thematic areas of our mission. 
We currently have an amazing team of volunteers supporting this initiative. We kindly seek the financial support of all and sundry in order to undertake more projects to increase our impact.
