Inspire South Sudan (ISS) is national Non-Governmental Organization (NNGO) established in 2019 and officially registered on April 2025 with state government of relief rehabilitation commission (RRC) in western Equatorial state of south Sudan. Collective south Sudanese youth formed governance board of directors and constitution to govern the body. The ISS aimed at the mission of promoting sustainable development, human rights, and social justice in South Sudan.
 
It operates primarily within the context of its core value on the complex socio-political andhumanitarian challenges the country faces, including the aftermath of civil conflict, poverty, and lack of access to basic services. The organization is committed to empowering communities through education, health initiatives, economic development, environmental climate resilience, agriculture and advocacy for gender equality and human rights.
 
Mission
The mission of Inspire South Sudan is to create a positive, lasting impact on the lives of South Sudanese people by providing essential services, promoting community-led development, and
advocating for peace, justice, and human rights. The organization seeks to inspire change by engaging local communities, government authorities, and international partners in a collaborative
effort to build a peaceful and prosperous South Sudan.

Education:
o Objective: Improve access to quality education at all levels and empower young people with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
o Activities:
 Building and rehabilitating schools in conflict-affected areas.
 Providing scholarships for underprivileged children and youth.
 Developing and distributing educational materials, including digital learning resources.
 Facilitating teacher training and capacity-building programs.
 
Health:
o Objective: Enhance access to quality healthcare services, particularly maternal and child health, and reduce the spread of preventable diseases.

 Supporting health clinics and providing essential medical supplies.
 Promoting public health awareness campaigns, particularly about nutrition, sanitation, and hygiene.
 Collaborating with international health organizations to improve immunization rates and maternal healthcare.

o Objective: Protect and promote human rights in South Sudan, focusing on the rights of vulnerable groups, including refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and ethnic minorities.

 Monitoring and reporting human rights violations.
 Working with national and international legal bodies to address violations of international humanitarian law.
 Providing legal aid and support to those whose rights have been violated.
 Lobbying for stronger human rights protection policies from the South Sudanese government and international community.

Geographical Presence
Inspire South Sudan will operates-primarily in the Greater Equatoria region, including key states such as Central Equatoria, Western Equatoria, and Eastern Equatoria, with some activities also extending into Upper Nile and Lakes State. These regions are among the most affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty. The organization operates in both rural and urban settings, ensuring that marginalized populations in both contexts receive the support they need.

The team is composed of experienced professionals, including project manager finance manger, logistic manager, MEAL manger, coordinator, program officers, volunteers and support personnel, who ensure the effective execution of the organization’s strategic objectives.

Inspire South Sudan collaborates with a wide range of network of civil society organization, local, or national, and international organizations, including the western equatorial state government republic of south Sudan, UN agencies, and donor organizations. Our financial support for live saving and recovery of most disadvantage groups comes from a combination ofcharitable organization, foundation donation, international donors, government grants, private donations, and partnerships with other NGO.

Despite its success, Inspire South Sudan faces several challenges, including:
