About

The Al-Anqaa Association for Community Development (AACD) is a licensed Palestinian NGO,
registered with the Ministry of Interior in both Ramallah and Gaza.
The organization has been operating in the Gaza Strip since 2003, holds official bank accounts with Bank
of Palestine, and is headquartered in North Gaza – Jabalia city.
AACD was established in response to rising poverty and the deteriorating socio-economic conditions in
Gaza. Since its founding, the association has implemented comprehensive humanitarian and development
interventions and built strong international partnerships that enhance the resilience of the Palestinian
community.
Throughout the recent war, AACD remained one of the most active and continuously present
organizations in North Gaza, despite over a year and a half of severe food insecurity and a period of full
scale famine.
