Description

KfW Development Bank, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is assisting the South Eastern European country in rebuilding its infrastructure and economy. Promoting the energy sector, especially the area of hydropower, windpower and energy efficiency, is strengthening sustainable economic growth in Bosnia-Herzegovina by assisting the country to become an energy exporter. Electricity is one of the country's few competitive products for export. In addition, we provide financing for water supply and wastewater treatment to contribute to the reconstruction of municipal infrastructure. Small and medium-sized enterprises are also being supported through loans to enable them to become an engine for growth and employment creation.
