Caritas Europa advocates integral human development and social justice to improve the quality of life of the poor and vulnerable.

Caritas Europa bases its policy positions on the knowledge and expertise from its member organisations, research, and strategic partnerships with Church and faith-based organisations, social partners and other civil society organisations.

Caritas Europa actively contributes to improving the quality of life of people experiencing poverty and to strenghening social cohesion through lobbying for a social, development, humanitarian aid and migration policy framework in Europe which is both needs-based and rights-based.

Finally, Caritas Europa organises campaigns to raise public awareness in Europe on human development, human mobility and social justice and mobilises society at large in support of its policy positions.
