Junior Achievement Georgia (JAG) was founded in December of 2002. It is one of 123 Member Nation affiliates' of Junior Achievement Worldwide. JA worldwide is the world's oldest and largest non-profit organization devoted to promoting an understanding of the principles and values of entrepreneurship and the free market system by building partnerships between business, educational and governmental sectors. Junior Achievement programs are recognized by the European Commission as the best practice in entrepreneurial education. Junior Achievement Georgia, based on the methodology developed by Junior Achievement Worldwide, which includes teaching Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, and Workforce Readiness, helps Georgian people understand the concept of citizen's personal freedom.
