AFRY (Thailand) Ltd, founded in 1996, is responsible for AFRY operations in Thailand. AFRY has been active in the Thailand market for more than 50 years, previously operating under brand names of “Electrowatt Engineering”, “Pöyry Energy”, “Colenco” and “ÅF Consult”. Thailand is also the regional headquarters for most of AFRY's South East Asia region operations.

AFRY has around 200 employees in its Bangkok office, which comprises a mix of expatriate and Thai engineers working in the following business sectors:

Energy: We are a leading power sector consulting & engineering company with some 50 major power projects and over 200 power sector related assignments executed in the country (Thermal Power, Hydropower, Biomass, Waste-to-Energy, Wind, Solar, Transmission & Distribution, Energy Management Consulting, LNG Terminals).
Pulp & Paper: We are a leading pulp and paper sector consulting & engineering company with a dozen major pulp and paper projects executed in Thailand.
Industry: Chemical & Petrochemical, Water & Waste Water, Automobile, Healthcare and Beverage. Experts in high-end consulting & engineering services for industrial projects with more than 70 industrial projects executed in Thailand.
Every year, we have about 100 projects being executed in our Bangkok office. We are the leading consulting engineering company in both the power and pulp & paper sectors in the country.
