Caira Organization for Community Development

We are pleased to introduce ourselves as a non-Govermental organization founded by a group of young people who seek to work on developing the homeland through innovative activities that serve the Palestinian community.

Caira Organization for Community Development is an organization founded with a group of young people. It is a youth organization with the spirit of humanitarian and cooperative work to preserve the Palestinian community in light of the security and economic conditions that Palestine is going through. This is the main goal of the organization. The organization's vision is to develop the humanitarian sector and preserve the cultural heritage through cultural and educational matters, as well as care for people with disabilities in the community by providing training for those working with them and providing material and moral support because they are the least fortunate group in Palestinian society. We work to target marginalized areas or hotspots and those most in need of support in the West Bank.

Caira Organization for Community Development is interested in working with youth, women, children and people with special needs. We are registered with the official departments and have all the documents that support our obtaining external projects, from an official bank account and a debit certificate from the source. We now have a project that we are implementing in Jenin, which is a project to employ 66 young people to implement recreational activities such as cultural, sports, musical and artistic activities, and psychological support for children and women to develop and advance the community in light of the current circumstances that the region is going through. It is a project funded by the United States Agency for Development, in addition to a health project to plant the roofs of the camps and increase physical activity and training on public health topics funded by the Healing across the Divides Foundation, and a project on gender-based violence for women exposed to violence in addition to underage girls funded by the Irish representation, in addition to the initiatives that we are implementing with self-financing to provide training in education and people with special needs. We also have initiatives to distribute food parcels and money to needy families funded by people who have trusted the Caira organization and the humanitarian work it does.
