Public Association Asyl-Ai

Public Association of Persons with Disabilities “Asyl-Ay” (Kyrgyz Republic). Our organization has been working since 2013 to protect the rights of persons with disabilities and to promote their social inclusion, equal access to education, vocational rehabilitation, and dignified living conditions, particularly in rural areas.

In 2025, with the support of a grant from The Stirling Foundation (USA) in the amount of USD 150,000, our organization completed the construction and launched a Vocational Rehabilitation Center in Suzak District. The center is fully operational and provides daily services to children and adults with disabilities, including vocational skills training, crafts, computer literacy, and social adaptation. However, the lack of stable and autonomous access to water remains a critical structural barrier that directly affects sanitary conditions, uninterrupted operation, and equal participation of persons with disabilities in the center’s programs.
