ChildFund New Zealand is an international NGO that works in partnership with children, their families, and communities. We support long-term positive change that benefits children; promotes children’s rights and voices and helps children break free from poverty.
Our aim is a world free of child poverty, where no child suffers from preventable diseases or hunger, where no child is exploited or harmed, and where every child feels cared for, has a strong and healthy mind and body, and is educated and confident.
ChildFund Kiribati is registered as a local Kiribati organisation that ChildFund New Zealand underwrites with its shared Board and senior management. Our Kiribati office is currently implementing a five-year youth-focused development assistance program, a WASH COVID-19 Emergency Response project, and a Child Protection COVID-19 Emergency Response project.
