Crown Agents is an international development company committed to global development and growth. Crown Agents works with leaders to accelerate self-sufficiency and prosperity. We do this across health, humanitarian, stabilisation, governance and public administration, prosperity and renewable energy. 

Crown Agents has had a presence in Japan since the 1960s and Crown Agents Japan Limited was established in July 2013.  We have contributed to the implementation of the Japanese government's Official Development Assistance (ODA) programme since 1987. Our procurement, financial management, consultancy and capacity building expertise has supported multiple projects in over 40 countries. We work with the Japanese government and agencies including the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

We have provided environmental infrastructure and technology, supported the development of small and medium sized enterprises, procured agricultural equipment and supplies, supplied urgently needed food aid and supported post-conflict efforts. We have also provided specialist programme management support to complex programmes involving denuclearisation and dismantling nuclear submarine for the former Soviet Union states, and for emergency grants to Iraq. Our procurement consultancy services to JICA include the provision of procurement capacity assessment studies in South Asia as well as procurement advisory and related services to Yen Loan projects globally.
