Description
Save the Children has more than 90 years ago (1919) founded by Eglantyne Jebb. They do so personally proposed a charter in which they described the rights of children. This charter later formed the basis of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations Convention of 1989. This Convention is ratified by the Netherlands and anchored in the statutes of Save the Children. Meanwhile, Save the Children has grown into the world's largest independent organization in the field of children's rights. Any child who is threatened in his or her child has our attention and care. Regardless of faith, gender, race, color, nationality or political opinion.
