The International Labor Office is the permanent secretariat of the International Labor Organization. It serves as headquarters for all the activities of the Organization which it implements under the supervision of the Board of Directors and under the authority of the Director General . The Office employs some 2,700 staff members from over 150 countries at headquarters in Geneva and in 40 offices worldwide. Among them, around 900 in the framework of technical cooperation programs and projects. The Office also includes a documentation center and research, as well as a printing company that publishes multiple specialized studies, reports and journals.
