In Equatorial Guinea, the proposed UNDP program has been developed in close consultation with the Government and supports it in the framework of United Nations programming processes such as the Common Country Assessment (CCA) ), The UNDAF (United Nations Development Assistance Management (UNDAF)), CPD and CPAP. The current cooperation framework covers the periods 2013-2017.
The program will aim to achieve equitable situations in Equatorial Guinea, with initiatives aimed at making the economic growth resulting from oil exploitation sustainable with respect to the environment and also benefiting the poor sectors of the population. To that end, The proposed Program has as its central axis of intervention the strengthening of national capacities to expand the opportunities of Guineans, improve public management and achieve a sustainable management of natural resources.
The Program represents the contribution of UNDP to the efforts of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in socio-economic well-being, good democratic governance and the sustainable environment for achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and achieving the objectives retained in the Agenda Equatorial Guinea Horizon 2020.
UNDP is a privileged partner of the Government for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) through support, advisory,
