Assisting over 90 million people in more than 80 countries each year, the World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.
The WFP Office to the EU and Belgium, established in 1996, is working in close partnership with the European Union and Government of Belgium.
Contributing more than €2.7 billion in 2017, together the European Commission and EU Member States helped WFP provide food assistance across 49 countries and remained WFP’s largest donor.
